about me

West Fairmount Park, Philadelphia.
Assistant Professor of Urban Planning & Community Development

I am a human geographer with research interests in social justice, technological mobilities, economic development, and the role of the Internet in transforming social and spatial relationships in cities worldwide. I completed my PhD in Geography-Urban Studies at Temple University in August 2014. My research examines how digital technologies and expert knowledge operate in defining, enabling, or impeding shared aspects of everyday life. My scholarship takes this understanding as an entry point to locate the social, technological, and environmental systems that sustain these relationships within the landscape itself.
